The second "Honoring Their Service" at Keowee Key was held June 7-10, 2010 Thirty Marines and Navy Corpsmen attended, supported by a MARSOC Chaplain. The Command SgtMaj and Master Chief attended the farewell Dinner at which Mr. Sam Wyche, NFL player, coach and entrepreneur provided an inspirational talk.
A few activites were added this year to broaden the experience for more of the Oconee County citizens. A "Gator Morning" was hosted by Mr. Jim Wiliams and his neigbors who live along Little River.
Perhaps the most notable addition was an evening honoring local veterans, hosted by the citizens of Seneca, complete with a pork BBQ dinner and fireworks. The Marines and Corpsmen had the opportunity to meet veterans from other wars.
