The Semper Fi Musicians
Jim, himself a Marine, wrote and performed the song Semper Fi. Music has always been a part of his life from his early days as a "Rock and Roller" to the present as songwriter, guitar player and lead singer for "The Little River Bluegrass Band."
Jim also wrote and, with his Band, recorded the song Thirteen Stars In A Circle, a tribute to Congressional Medal Of Honor recipient, S/Sgt. Louis G. Watkins, USMC.
*Semper Fi, short for Semper Fidelis, is the Marine Corps motto, meaning "always faithful".
